What is the project about?
InFUELencer is an Erasmus+ cooperation project in vocational education and training (VET) that supports petrol stations and fuel retail businesses in remaining economically viable and further developing their business models in the course of the European green transition. To this end, practical training materials and training activities are being developed, tailored to VET trainers and fuel retail businesses as learners.
What are the project goals?
For policymakers, associations and stakeholders
to create a solid understanding of the context, challenges and future prospects in the fuel retail sector so that decisions and support services are better aligned.
For VET providers and trainers
to develop a concrete curriculum that is geared towards the actual needs of fuel retail businesses, with a focus on business viability and transformation.
For fuel retail businesses (i.e. owners)
management and employees, provide knowledge, skills and tools to explore and implement sustainable transformation options.
For all target groups
communicate the results in such a way that they can be widely used and overall competence in business viability and transformation increases across multiple levels (local, national, and EU).
Planned results of the project
New insights and orientation, a digital report with survey results on the situation, needs, challenges and obstacles in the fuel retail context.
InFUELencer Framework
Competence model for teachers as "innovation influencers".
Curriculum & Training Toolkit
Modular training materials for VET teachers. A curriculum framework, plus training modules that specifically address competencies for alternative fuels [Guide on Alternative Fuels (AF)] and successful transformation [Guide on Business Transformation (BT)].
Digitale Plattform & Online-Academy
Interactive learning environment with best practice examples. An e-learning platform with interactive tools and resources, plus training and workshop elements for testing with target groups in all partner countries.
Guide for institutions
Strategies for promoting a culture of innovation in VET institutions. A guide to alternative fuels, including infrastructure, economic efficiency and environmental impact, plus a business transformation guide with strategies, models and best practices.
