MAPWISE

What is the project about?

Career guidance is a crucial phase in the lives of young people, and the MAPWISE project aims to provide innovative and motivating support for pupils on this path.

An app is being developed that complements the careers guidance process with a sense of one’s own network. Within the project, 7 organisations from 6 countries will contribute to implementing this app geographically and informatively in one model region per country.

With its products, the project is intended to help successfully supplement already standardised processes of study and career orientation and provide incentives for orientation. The model tours and educational handouts are intended to support teachers and career guidance and counselling experts in successfully integrating the MAP app into their processes.

What is the general aim of the project?

The main objectives are successful ‘interaction’ and ‘inclusion’ in career guidance.

The young people's sense of self-efficacy is to be strengthened in a targeted manner.

The aim is to provide young people with tools to explore professions in their immediate surroundings and thus make them more visible.

The aim is to support young people in building up their own networks for their professional future at an early stage and in a self-determined manner.
